This July and August Citylight is pausing from its weekly City Groups to enjoy a whole-church Summer Mash Up for seven Wednesdays from July 8 to August 19.
As the adults gather for teaching and roundtable discussions, we will have gospel-centered ministry for children. Along with a caring nursery for babies and toddlers, there will be a VBS for 4-year olds to preteens.
In the Gospel of John, the seven “I am” sayings reveal a significant aspect of Christ Jesus. No mere man would say such things, yet Jesus could say them as they show Him to be the Sustainer, the Illuminator, the Mediator, the Care-taker, the Life-Giver, the Leader, the Guaranteer and Perfecter of Our Faith.
The goal of this year’s weekly VBS teaching is to awaken spiritual interest in children, so that they might know Jesus and follow Him for a lifetime of faith. For more information, contact Citylight Kids with our contact page HERE.
