We wanted to invite you to a special service led by Rabbi Dennis Karp one of our own missionaries from Chosen People Ministries on Thursday evening, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. Dennis will be presenting "Messiah in the Passover." This powerful demonstration tells not only the drama of Israel’s freedom from slavery in Egypt, but also the beautiful story of redemption from the bondage of sin through the atoning work of Jesus. 

This service will include footwashing, a love feast and Seder. It is vitally important that you RSVP by March 23rd on Realm! Childcare will be provided as well as dinner for the children. 

Please note that this will be a longer service and that those who participate in this service should have an adequate attention span and an understanding of what is taking place. 

Join us for the Citylight Women's Retreat April 26-27 at the W.E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center at Smith Mountain Lake. 

The retreat will start Friday, April 26th, at 5 PM for check-in. The retreat will conclude Saturday evening. 

Jesus' invitation is to GROW DEEP in His love, which results in GOING deep in relationships. Our desire at Citylight is to grow in both of these relationships in tandem: with God and with one another. The roots of our spiritual lives are often unseen and may not be obvious from the outside. They grow deeper as we tend the soil of our lives, being present with the Lord and those He places in our path. These means of grace are how we grow to become truly "rooted." It is these deep roots that will establish us and bear much fruit in the future!
