We have moved back to Maiden Lane. Our sanctuary in the JESUS SAVES church is in the last weeks of renovation. Until it is ready, here is important information for weekly worship and ministry.
SUNDAY worship
- Park along Wasena Avenue, Maiden Lane or in our church parking lot.
- Come early for 9:15 – 9:45 a.m. prayer on the Wasena House porch.
- Join us for our 10:00 a.m. worship service in the church gym.
- Children (infant to 5th grade) are dismissed during the service. Our nursery and children’s classes are on the lower level of the JESUS SAVES church. Enter from side door on Maiden Lane.
WEDNESDAY children and youth ministry
- This runs from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., concurrent with our other Wednesday City Groups.
- There is a nursery and children’s ministry (up to 5th grade) with different age groupings.
- Our Youth City Group (middle and high school) is led by an adult City Group and meets in the gym and youth room.

WEEKLY City Groups

- Here are our City Groups into this fall season:
- SUNDAY evenings (1 group in Vinton/Franklin County, 1 group in North Roanoke County, College & Young Adult group in church house)
- TUESDAY lunch (every other week, usually at 2nd Helpings Cafe on Williamson Rd.)
- WEDNESDAY evenings (1 group in SW Roanoke City, 1 group in church house)
- THURSDAY evenings (1 group in SW Roanoke City)
- FRIDAY evenings (1 group in Glenvar-Salem)
- As these groups are growing, we are planning more City Groups through multiplication or pioneering.
