Gospel Certainty in Luke

that you may have certainty

concerning the things you have been taught.

Luke 1:4

Luke was a beloved physician and a ministry co-worker of the apostle Paul. He wrote an orderly account to the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus. He wrote so that the most excellent Theophilus may have certainty concerning the things of Jesus. The name “Theophilus” means “one who loves God,” and so we too desire to be lovers of God who have certainty of faith in Christ Jesus.

In this new season in the life of Citylight Church, we are committing ourselves to Luke’s Gospel in Sunday worship and weekly readings.
