On November, 4, 2018, after a year of conversations, prayer and planning, Citylight Church and Ghent Grace Brethren Church voted to merge together to become a new church, “Citylight: The Jesus Saves Church.”
Through the end of 2018, Ghent Grace Brethren will continue to gather for Sunday worship at 1511 Maiden Lane SW, Roanoke, Virginia 24015. There will be a special Christmas Eve service there on Monday, December 24 at 6:00 p.m.
Beginning on January 6, 2018, this merged church, this new Citylight Church, will meet on Sunday mornings at the Kirk Family YMCA, 520 Church Ave. SW, Roanoke, VA 24016. Park in the lot on 5th and Luck Ave., and enter the Luck Ave. entrance to the Y. We also will continue City Groups in homes throughout the week.
In late spring or early summer, after a season of renovations, we will move back to Maiden Lane for Sunday morning worship, continuing to shine the light of the gospel in knowing and following Jesus.
