As Hurricane Irma is projected to track up the Gulf Coast of Florida, Citylight is readying our 16-foot trailer in relief for preparation for the expected storm damage, power outages, and supply shortages.
One of Citylight’s members, Jimmy Glazier, is from Port Charlotte, Florida. Jimmy’s parents still reside in Port Charlotte where his father is the pastor of Atwater Community Church. Pastor Jim Glaizer is preparing their church to distribute supplies after the hurricane. Jimmy is departing Roanoke on Tuesday with this trailer to assist in this effort.
Here’s where we need your generosity. Help us fill this trailer Monday evening with contributions from the supply list below. We are grateful to Grace Church for the use of their parking lot as a collection point.
