With another summer of outdoor beauty and play, Citylight is going to mash-up in getting to know one another more and enjoying this season together.

 

CHURCH-WIDE MASH-UPS

We will enjoy a bring-your-own-takeout dinner at Countryside Park (Ranch Road NW Roanoke, VA 24017) on Sunday, June 12 at 5:00 p.m.. This will be a casual time for connection at this beautiful new park. There is a state-of-the-art playground for kids and open spaces to enjoy games and rest together.

Before school begins again, we will gather on Sunday, August 21, at 11:00 a.m. for an outdoor worship service and picnic lunch on Mill Mountain. We will celebrate eight years as a church as we worship God in a time of prayer, singing and God’s Word. Afterward, we will enjoy a good ol’ potluck lunch in the shelter and green space. Bring you own lawn chairs and a dish or two to share.

 

CITY GROUP MASH-UPS

Our City Groups will continue in life together through the summer, but each group will downshift from weekly gatherings to a more open schedule. There will also be times where two or more City Groups will mash-up together in food and fellowship.

 

PERSONAL MASH-UPS

As we downshift City Groups from weekly gatherings, we are encourage individuals, couples and families to mash-up with others in shared meals, hobbies and projects. This is a wonderful time for folks to meet-up with newcomers or to reconnect with old friends.
