The celebration of Advent – which means “coming” or “arrival” – helps focus our attention on Jesus first coming in humility – His birth, ministry, death and resurrection – as well as His second coming in glory.
Advent is celebrated on the four Sundays before Christmas to our Christmas Eve service. In these worship gatherings, children and adults will lead us in readings, candle lightings and prayer as we reflect upon Christ’s coming. Also during this season, we invite you to give the gift of God’s Word to the ministry of Serving His Children.
