This Sunday, as we continue in our Summer Psalms, we will be introducing a new song, Great Things by Sovereign Grace. Verse 1 is based on the hymn by Fanny Crosby, To God Be The Glory (1875).
This week we come to Psalm 126, a Song of Ascents, which declares, “The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad” (verse 3). As we gather to worship our great God and remember His great works, let us greatly sing His praise together.

To God be the glory, great things He has done
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son
Who yielded His life, an atonement for sin
And opened the life-gate that all may go in
VERSE 2
To God be the glory for wisdom and grace
That chose us and made us the heirs of His name
He justified freely His daughters and sons
And gave us His Spirit, the seal of His love

Praise God from whom all blessings flow

To God be the glory, He joined us with Christ
