Revelation 2 and 3

Into the new year, we continue our study in the book of Revelation as we come to Jesus’ letters to the seven churches in chapters two and three. Jesus “loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father” (Rev. 1:5-6). Jesus perfectly knows us and particularly addresses us with his Word and by his Spirit. As we read these letters to the historical churches of that day in Asia Minor, what is Jesus now speaking to us in this day? “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Rev. 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22).
