Advent 2016

The celebration of Advent – which means “coming” or “arrival” – helps focus our attention on Jesus first coming in humility – His birth, ministry, death and resurrection – as well as His second coming in glory.

Advent is celebrated on the four Sundays before Christmas to our Christmas Eve service. In these worship gatherings, children and adults will lead us in readings, candle lightings and prayer as we reflect upon Christ’s coming. During this season, we are beginning a sermon series into the book of Revelation, and we will be in chapter 1 for the Sundays of Advent.

Sundays, Nov. 27, Dec. 4, 11, 18 – 10:00 a.m. at the Kirk Family YMCA

Saturday, Dec. 24 – 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Kirk Family YMCA

Note: We are not having Sunday morning service on December 25, 2016.

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy,
and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it,
for the time is near.
